Fall is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s my favorite season of all. Bonfires, fall wardrobe, pumpkin spice everything. When I think of fall I think about sitting in cozy pajamas drinking my coffee in bed. But most of all, the fall outfits! Summer is awesome, but Fall/Autumn will always have my heart. So I put together a few my of my favorite fall outfit essentials.
Denim jackets are sooo much fun. They can make a dress up a casual outfit but won’t make it too over-dressed. Going to the movies? Denim jacket. Church night? Denim jacket. Bonfire? Denim jacket. I swear if I could I would wear a denim jacket every day.
Last fall I wore my husband’s bomber jacket almost every day. It was a nice maroon color with a silk-feel to it. Bomber jackets are one of fall’s trends and for a good reason too. You’ll get an effortless urban chic, especially when paired with some black jeans.
BRIGHT COLORED STATEMENT COAT
Fall is all about the neutrals, but a nice bright statement or a rockin’ design is always fun. I’m really excited to wear more of these this fall!
THIGH HIGH BOOTS
I’m most excited about thigh highs! There are so many types of thigh highs to choose
from, each has a different effect on the outfit.
Scarves are fun and actually give lots of warmth. An oversized scarf though… aesthetically pleasing for a laid-back
look. I feel like scarves really
do give that fall-inspired look.
This one is basic but makes all the difference. You can dress this from a simple shirt and jeans to a dress to literally any outfit. That’s what I love about them. Just throw on a cardigan and out the door, it’ll change your whole outfits. If you want to keep your look simple but not plain, a knit cardigan is your friend.
OFF THE SHOULDER SWEATER
Off the shoulder sweaters are great in summer, but an off the shoulder sweater is amazing in fall! They give a little extra suminsumin but still relaxed. They’ll go with any type of bottoms. Jeans, leggings, ripped jeans, etc.
